Kinetics has completed the
Data Warehousing Project for The Planet Internet Services Company. Kinetics provided expertise in the:

Design and development of a
consolidated enterprise data model
which acts as the integration platform and
staging area for data from
multiple legacy systems resulting from the merger of The Planet and EV1
dedicated internet hosting companies. Used as the primary source for building out Data Marts and
the Presentation Layer within the Data Warehouse.

Design and development of a consolidated Master Data maintenance application external to the legacy
operational systems that allows business users to dynamically define hierarchal relationships
across disparate systems within the enterprise Product, Package, and Customer data and pull them
into the Data Warehouse as conformed dimensional attributes.

Design and development of cubes to support the analysis of various business processes including marketing, sales, ordering, provisioning, billing, contracts, inventory, and ticketing.

Design and development of the
messaging bus for sending and receiving near real-time data feeds
from legacy applications into the Data Warehouse.

Oversaw the provisioning and deployment of the Oracle database, ETL, and reporting servers for Production, QA, and Development environments.

Design and development of an application for scheduling and monitoring nightly ETL batch jobs. Provided operational support to nightly batch.

Supported SQL Server 2005 Business Intelligence Platform (SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS).

Oversaw the migration of Reports and Cubes from Pentaho Open Source Business Intelligence to SQL Server 2005 Business Intelligence Platform.
US Customs and Border Protection assigns Kinetics Filer Code
(Feb 8, 2007 Dallas, Tx) U.S. Customs and Border Protection has
assigned Filer Code SW3 to Kinetics. The testing and certification process is
scheduled to begin next week wih the Automated Broker Interface
(ABI) messaging module.

(Jan 2, 2007 Dallas, Tx) Regulatory compliance continues to take a large role in the systems we develop while government initiatives such as the recently proposed Security Filing (10 + 2) push cargo selectivity further up the supply chain.
This year Kinetics capital budget expenditures include adding new infrastructure for AQ messaging with the Automated Broker Interface (ABI) of the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) as defined by the CATAIR (Customs and Trade Automated Interface Requirements). Kinetics completes UPS-SCS Customs Management Integration Project

Kinetics has completed the
Customs Management Integration Project for UPS-SCS. Kinetics provided expertise in the:

Design and development of the Java application framework for triggering, scheduling, creating,
delivering, and monitoring data extracts from the UPS Global Business Systems Customs
Management (GBSCM) operational data store (CMODS). Framework includes web based screens
for maintaining client preferences, screens for scheduling and monitoring extract activity
and file delivery, background processes to evaluate trigger criteria, and extract programs
to meet a variety of file formats including XML, flat files, telink, Excel, and email.

Data extracts include customs documents (7501 and 3461), importer statement, liquidation,
advanced shipment notice (856), status updates (214), billing information (810), and delivery
order (317) provided to systems such as EDI, UPS Brokerage Compliance, customer visibility (Flex Global View),
document imaging, financial reporting, and directly to customers.

Design and development of the processes to retrieve queued messages (Oracle AQ) from the US
Customs Brokerage operational system (GBSCM), parse and route XML documents from the messages,
and load data structures of the operational data store (CMODS).

Design and development of the processes to parse Automated Broker Interface (ABI) messages from
US Customs using the Customs and Trade Automated Interface Requirements (CATAIR) for Cargo
Release and Courtesy Notice of Liquidation.

Providing subject matter expertise and assisted in building proof of concept to evaluate
Message Oriented Middleware (MOM) using Oracle Advanced Queuing and XML formatted messages.

Design and development of the process to extract, transform, and load US Customs Brokerage
entry and billing data from the customer visibility database (Flex Global View) into the star schema
structures of the data warehouse application.

Supported Cognos report developers with database tuning and SQL .
